At Fooda, we scour the streets for the best food trucks, trendy restaurants, hidden gem mom and pops, popular favorites, and dedicated caterers. Making the connection between them and people who appreciate their food is our passion.

5411 Empanadas: Authentic Argentinian Empanadas in Chicago

Named after the international dialing code for Buenos Aires, Argentina, 5411 Empanadas started as one of the first food trucks in Chicago. Its founders believe in bringing people together around great authentic food and ensure this by using locally sourced ingredients, authentic recipes and innovative cooking techniques. 5411 has since taken over Chicago with five locations and is now bringing their sweet and savory empanadas to Houston and Miami.


Dickey’s Barbecue: Old Fashioned Pit Barbecue for Wherever You Roam

In 1941, Travis Dickey came home from the war and opened a small barbecue restaurant in Dallas, Texas. The menu was small then: brisket, ham, barbecue beans, potato chips, milk and beer. Dickey’s has since grown from that humble barbecue stop to the nation’s largest barbecue chain. Today, all meats are still slow smoked on-site in each of its nearly 600 restaurants across 44 states. The family-run organization still serves the classics with 'No B.S. (Bad Stuff)' included.
